SUMMARY:
Alcoholic beverage control; gourmet brewing shop. Creates a “gourmet brewing shop” license in which “gourmet brewing shop” is defined as an establishment which sells to persons to whom beer may lawfully be sold, ingredients for brewing beer, including packaging, and rents to such persons facilities for manufacturing, fermenting, and bottling beer. A person who manufactures beer at his residence or at a gourmet brewing shop may remove not more than 15 gallons of such beer on any one occasion for lawful personal and family use, gifts given under certain circumstances, and samples given at beer exhibitions and judging events. The bill also provides for a state and local license tax for this new license.
