SUMMARY:

Exemptions from registration requirements of Securities Act. Exempts from the securities, broker-dealer and agent registration requirements of the Securities Act any offer or sale of securities issued by a professional business entity to a person licensed or otherwise legally authorized to render the same professional services rendered by the professional business entity (as such terms are defined in § 13.1-1102). The bill also exempts any security issued by savings banks from the securities registration requirements of the Act.
