SUMMARY:
Department of Criminal Justice Services; private security services business personnel training standards. Provides partial exemptions from existing training requirements for persons having previous training which meets or exceeds minimum training standards established by the Department of Criminal Justice Services. No exemption shall be granted in any event to any person having less than five years of continuous employment or to any person whose employment was terminated due to misconduct or incompetence. “Electronic security technician's assistant” is defined. A grandfather clause is provided for designated employees with respect to registration. Security force members who are directly employed by electronic public service companies are added to those persons who are exempt from the article governing private services businesses.
