SUMMARY:
Occupational disease presumption. Provides that certain volunteer or salaried firefighters having contracted leukemia or pancreatic, prostate, rectal or throat cancer are presumed to have occupational diseases under the Workers' Compensation Act (pursuant to § 65.2-402) only if coverage for the presumption is authorized by the employees' local governing body.
