SUMMARY:
Aircraft sales and use tax exemption; Mercy Medical Airlift. Grants an exemption from the aircraft sales and use tax to an organization exempt from taxation under § 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code which is organized to provide charitable, long-distance, advanced life-support, air ambulance service for low-income medical patients in the Commonwealth. The bill also grants such organizations exemptions from the motor fuel tax and special fuels tax on aviation fuel.
