HB 1608 Aircraft sales and use tax.

SUMMARY:

Aircraft sales and use tax. Expands the sales tax exemption to include tangible personal property sold to airlines that provide scheduled service once per week to a Virginia airport. Currently, such service must be provided five days per week. The bill also exempts airlines from the aircraft sales and use tax if they operate pursuant to published flight schedules or to mail contracts with the U.S. Postal Service.
