SUMMARY:

Administration of government; Governor to authorize commercial use of seals of the Commonwealth. Grants to the Governor the power to authorize the use of the seals of the Commonwealth for commercial purposes under specified conditions. The bill also provides for a preference for certain products meeting enumerated standards. The bill requires the Secretary of the Commonwealth and the Director of the Division of Purchases and Supply to assist the Governor in determining when such commercial use is appropriate as well as the details of any contract entered into. The bill also contains technical amendments.
