SUMMARY:

Sales tax exemption; nonprofit civic and community service. Provides a sales tax exemption from July 1, 1995, through June 30, 1998, for tangible personal property purchased for use or consumption by or sold by a nonprofit volunteer organization whose purpose is to improve its community through public works, fund raisers, and donations to other community groups. Incorporated in House Bill 1459.
