SUMMARY:

Statutes of limitation. Increases from one to two years the catch-all statute of limitations applicable to claims for which no other limitation period is specified and specifies that the limitation on actions for slander, libel, defamation and insulting words remains subject to a one-year limitation period.

The bill is recommended by the Boyd-Graves Conference.
