SUMMARY:
Sales tax exemption; nonprofit civic and community organization. Provides a sales tax exemption from July 1, 1995, through June 30, 1998, for tangible personal property purchased for use or consumption by a nonprofit organization organized to provide a one-to-one relationship for children living in single-parent homes by matching them with adult volunteers who provide them with support, guidance, and friendship while addressing their social, emotional, and academic needs. Incorporated in House Bill 1459.
