1995 SESSION
HB 1546 Clean fuel vehicle and business facility job creation tax credit.
Introduced by: Arthur R. Giesen, Jr. | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Job creation tax credits. Provides for a clean fuel vehicle job creation tax credit of $700 per year (for a maximum of three years beginning January 1, 1996, and ending December 31, 2006) for each job created in (i) manufacturing clean fuel vehicles or vehicle components used solely for clean fuel vehicles or (ii) converting traditionally fueled vehicles to run on clean fuels. The measure also eliminates the $1 million cap on tax credits that may be claimed under the major business facility job tax credit, and extends the carry-forward period for the job tax credit from five to 10 years.
