SUMMARY:

Juvenile records; release of name. Allows a judge to release the name and address of a juvenile 14 or older charged with an “act of violence” where consideration of the public interest requires the disclosure. “Act of violence” is defined by reference to the three-strikes-and-you're-out legislation enacted in 1994 (e.g., murder, mob violence, kidnapping, etc.).
