SUMMARY:

Motor vehicle sales and use tax; exemptions. Requires a taxpayer to show evidence that a sales tax has been paid on a motor vehicle purchased out-of-state within the last 12 months when registering it in the Commonwealth in order to qualify for an exemption from the Virginia motor vehicle sales and use tax.
