SUMMARY:
Insurance; standing of third-party claimant to seek review of canceled or nonrenewed policy. Authorizes third parties claiming against an automobile insurance liability policy to seek review by the Virginia State Corporation Commission (SCC) of the procedures by which an insurer canceled or nonrenewed the policy. The bill further states that its provisions are declarative of existing law.
