SUMMARY:

Firearms on school property. Clarifies that the "closed container" exception to the prohibition against possession of certain weapons on school property applies only if the closed container in which a weapon is kept is in or upon a motor vehicle. Thus, having weapon in a closed container (e.g., a backpack) while in the school building will not preclude a prosecution.
