SUMMARY:
Certain printing practices at public institutions of higher education. Prohibits all public institutions of higher education from using multi-color printing or saddle-stitching in the publication of any class schedules. This measure is designed to address cost-savings and increased opportunities for printing and publishing companies. Pursuant to § 2.1-440, state institutions must purchase printing or other services through the Division of Purchases and Supply unless otherwise authorized by the Division. This measure was carried over by the House Education Committee.
