SUMMARY:
Ignition interlock systems. Authorizes the court to require a DUI first offender not to operate any motor vehicle which is not equipped with such a system. All costs of the system are to be paid by the offender. Class 1 misdemeanor penalties are provided for knowingly attempting to circumvent any such system. The court may provide an exemption for designated work-related driving.
