SUMMARY:
General Assembly; economic impact statements. Provides for the development of economic impact statements for any legislation which may result in the promulgation of regulations by any agency. The bill sets out the procedure for consideration by a standing committee of the economic impact statement, and the information which must be contained in the economic impact statement. The bill defines an economic impact statement as a document prepared by an agency at the direction of a standing committee.
