SUMMARY:
Marriage blood test. Requires that any applicant for a marriage license in the Commonwealth submit to the clerk a physician's statement that the person has submitted to a serological test to detect the presence of syphilis and gonorrhea. The physician is responsible for providing information to the infected person and the other party for whom the license is requested about the existence of the infection and the possibilities of transmitting the disease to the partner or children.
