RESOLVED by the Senate, the House of Delegates concurring, That the General Assembly confirm the following appointments to certain independent boards made by Governor George Allen during the 1995 Regular Session and communicated to the General Assembly by his letter dated February 2, 1995:

State Lottery Board:

Stephen C. Fogleman, 6221 Arkendale Road, Alexandria, Virginia 22307, Member, effective January 15, 1995, to serve for a term of five years, ending January 14, 2000, to succeed Harris N. Miller.

Board of Trustees of the Virginia Retirement System:

Joseph L. Boyd, Dean, School of Business, Norfolk State University, 2401 Corprew Avenue, Norfolk, Virginia 23504, Member, effective January 16, 1995, to serve for an unexpired term, ending February 28, 1999, to succeed Bonnie Guiton Hill, resigned.
