SENATE BILL NO. 767 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the Senate Committee on Education and Health on February 2, 1995) (Patron Prior to Substitute--Senator Woods) A BILL to amend and reenact § 54.1-2710 of the Code of Virginia, relating to practicing dentistry without a license.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 54.1-2710 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 54.1-2710. Practicing dentistry without license.

It Notwithstanding the provisions of § 54.1-103 C, it shall be unlawful for any person to practice dentistry or to receive a license from any commissioner of the revenue to practice dentistry, unless he has passed the examination and obtained a license.

This section shall not be interpreted to apply to or in any manner affect the provisions of §§ 54.1-2712 through 54.1-2714.1.
