VIRGINIA ACTS OF ASSEMBLY -- CHAPTER An Act to amend Chapter 237 of the Acts of Assembly of 1901-2, which provided a charter for the Town of Windsor, in Isle of Wight County, by adding a section numbered 2.3, relating to salaries of mayor and councilmen. [S 622] Approved

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That Chapter 237 of the Acts of Assembly of 1901-2 is amended by adding a section numbered 2.3 as follows:

§ 2.3. Salaries of mayor and councilmen.

The mayor and councilmen shall be paid a salary for their services, to be fixed by the council, which shall not be increased or diminished during the term for which the mayor and councilmen, respectively, have been elected.

2. That an emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
