HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 30
Commending Robert P. Vaughan.

Agreed to by the House of Delegates, February 7, 1995

WHEREAS, Robert P. Vaughan was first appointed Commissioner of the Revenue of Virginia Beach on January 1, 1985, was elected to that position later in 1985, and reelected in 1989 and 1993; and

WHEREAS, Robert P. Vaughan has been a member of the Commissioners of the Revenue Association of Virginia since January 1, 1985, serving as president of the association from November 9, 1993, to November 15, 1994; and

WHEREAS, during his term of office, Robert P. Vaughan maintained the highest professional and educational standards for Commissioners of the Revenue; and

WHEREAS, Robert P. Vaughan received the Most Valuable Member Award from the Commissioners of the Revenue Association of Virginia in 1990; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the Revenue Association of Virginia presented the outstanding leadership award to Robert P. Vaughan in sincere appreciation for his services and his unselfish efforts on behalf of the association and its members; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Robert P. Vaughan be commended for his service to the Commissioners of the Revenue Association of Virginia; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Robert P. Vaughan as a visible expression of the high regard in which he is held by the members of the House of Delegates.
