Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 46.2-101.1 as follows:
§ 46.2-101.1. Applicability of Chapters 8 and 10 to vehicles on certain private property.
The provisions of Chapters 8 (§ 46.2-800 et seq.) and 10 (§ 46.2-1000 et seq.) of this title shall apply not only to vehicles on public highways, but also to those on private property to which the public is permitted access. Law-enforcement officers may go upon such private property for the purposes of enforcing the provisions of Chapters 8 and 10 of this title and may, without further authorization, issue citations for violations committed upon such private property.
