LD0093308Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 8.01-36.1 as follows:
§ 8.01-36.1. Recovery of lost earnings by certain persons.
In a civil action for personal injury asserting a claim for loss of earnings or loss of earning capacity of someone who has no previous or recent employment history, evidence which may help the trier of fact to make an intelligent and probable estimate of such loss of earnings or loss of earning capacity shall be admissible.
