Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 18.2-340.2:1 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 18.2-340.2:1. Local control of management and operation of bingo games and raffles.

The governing body of any county, city or town may adopt an ordinance which (i) limits the number of organizations for which a person may manage, operate or conduct bingo games or raffles and (ii) prohibits the sale of prepackaged pull-tab devices as that term is described in subdivision 3 of § 18.2-340.1.
