HOUSE BILL NO. 2202 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the House Committee for Courts of Justice on February 2, 1995) (Patron Prior to Substitute--Delegate Wardrup) A BILL to amend and reenact § 26-24 of the Code of Virginia, relating to commissioners of accounts.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 26-24 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 26-24. Fees of commissioners of accounts.

The fees of commissioners of accounts for the special duties hereinbefore imposed upon them shall be the same as are now allowed by law to commissioners in chancery. Each commissioner of accounts shall report to the clerk of the circuit court, on February 1 of every year, the gross amount of his fees for the previous calendar year. The report shall be available for public inspection at the office of the clerk.
