Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 2 of Chapter 27 of Title 54.1 a section numbered 54.1-2709.1 as follows:

§54.1-2709.1. Licensure by endorsement.

The Board shall issue a license by endorsement to an applicant to practice dentistry if the applicant is licensed as a dentist under the laws of another state, the District of Columbia or a United States possession or territory and, in the opinion of the Board, the applicant meets the qualifications required of dentists licensed in this Commonwealth.
