Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 7.1.-40.9 as follows:

§ 7.1-40.9. Official Reptile.

The Timber Rattlesnake is hereby designated the official reptile of the Commonwealth.
