SUMMARY:

Nurse practitioners. Requests the Joint Commission on Health Care to study the strategies and incentives necessary to promote cost effective health care delivery and nursing care by an optimum use of nurse practitioners. The Joint Boards of Medicine and Nursing are requested to promulgate regulations to define the term "collaboration".
