SUMMARY:

Housing; powers of the Director of the Department of Housing and Community Development. Codifies the authority of the Director of the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) to establish and administer a statewide homeless intervention program. Since 1988, HCD has been administering a pilot program for homeless intervention. This bill expands this program statewide.
