SUMMARY:
Professions and occupations; licensing of architects and engineers; exemptions. Exempts employees of the Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy from licensure as an architect, engineer or land surveyor provided they were employed by the Commonwealth or any political subdivision on March 8, 1992, and remain so employed. The exemption so provided expires on June 30, 2010, and applies only to regular, full-time salaried employees. The bill contains an emergency clause.
