SUMMARY:
Unauthorized practice of law. Specifies that a collection agency, which refers a matter to an attorney for collection, upon approval of the creditor of both the referral and any fee arrangement, is not engaged in the unauthorized practice of law. Additionally, the bill specifically authorizes an attorney to enter into agreements with the collection agency to act for the creditor.
