SUMMARY:
Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation; Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Landscape Architects; waiver of examination for interior designers. Entitles any person who (i) used or was identified by the title interior designer for at least twenty years prior to the effective date of the initial regulations of the Board pertaining to interior designers, (ii) received a bachelor's degree in interior design from a four-year college prior to 1967, (iii) is certified as an interior designer by any state or the District of Columbia, and (iv) filed an application for waiver of examination on or before January 25, 1994, to apply for and secure from the Board, without written examination, a certificate pursuant to the provisions of the chapter.
