SUMMARY:
Licensure of dentists. Dental graduates of colleges or universities approved by the Board of Dentistry are currently authorized to serve as interns, residents or post-doctoral degree candidates. This bill also authorizes dental graduates from other states or other countries to serve as interns, residents or post-doctoral degree and certificate candidates (specialty graduate programs award certificates to degree-holding candidates, e.g., in prosthodontics, periodontics, etc.).
