SB 527 Jails; medical treatment program.

SUMMARY:

Jails--medical treatment program. Permits local correctional facilities to establish medical treatment programs in which prisoners participate in medical care referrals and pay for a portion of the costs. The Board of Corrections shall develop a model plan for such programs and promulgate regulations to govern implementation.
