SUMMARY:

Required reporting by hospitals and other health care institutions of disciplinary actions and certain disorders. Bars the application of § 8.01-581.17 by hospitals, etc., to initial reports of unprofessional conduct by health care practitioners and any medical records requested which are necessary for the health regulatory boards within the Department of Health Professions to investigate such conduct.
