SUMMARY:
Marriage and family therapists. Establishes a Marriage and Family Therapy Advisory Committee to advise the Boards of Medicine, Professional Counselors, Psychology, and Social Work on standards for the voluntary certification of their licensees as marriage and family therapists. Each Board listed above is required to promulgate regulations regarding such voluntary certification. The Board of Psychology is required to license as marriage and family therapists persons who are otherwise exempt from licensure.
