SUMMARY:
Local expense reimbursement for driving while impaired. Authorizes any city with a population of more than 350,000 or any volunteer rescue squad within such county or city, to recover in a civil action up to $1,000 in the aggregate for costs in responding to accidents involving alcohol or narcotic drugs which impair the operator of a motor vehicle, engine, train or watercraft. Insurance policies normally issued for bodily injury or property damage on the above listed modes of transportation shall not cover this civil liability.
