SUMMARY:

Terms of elected school board members. Permits Loudoun and Pulaski Counties to provide by ordinance for staggered terms for its elected school board. Under general law, elected school board members must serve the same terms as the members of the local governing body. The other locality exempted from the general law requirement is Rockbridge County, pursuant to 1993 legislation.
