SB 352 Emergency Medical Services Do Not Resuscitate Orders.
Introduced by: R. Edward Houck | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Emergency Medical Services Do Not Resuscitate Orders. Revises the scope and application of Emergency Medical Services Do Not Resuscitate Orders by including hospital emergency department health care providers as well as qualified emergency medical services personnel and by specifically noting that the subjects (qualified patients) of EMSDNR orders include terminally ill patients and those for whom the attending physician has issued a Do Not Resuscitate Order. This provision also specifically states that this law only relates to limitations on authority to carry out EMSDNR orders and does not limit other do not resuscitate orders.
