SUMMARY:
Virginia Freedom of Information Act; exemptions. Exempts from the Virginia Freedom of Information Act those confidential proprietary records, voluntarily provided by private business pursuant to a promise of confidentiality from local industrial or economic development authorities or organizations, used by such entities for business, trade and tourism development. The current exemption only applies to such proprietary records provided upon a promise of confidentiality by the Virginia Department of Economic Development.
