SUMMARY:

Campaign Finance Disclosure Act; definitions. Adds an exemption from the definitions which trigger the filing and reporting requirements under the Act. The new exemption applies to organizations which provide voter information and are tax-exempt under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and which do not endorse or oppose specific candidates or the candidates of a particular political party.
