SB 258 Vital records fee.

SUMMARY:

Vital records fee. Increases the fee that may be charged by the Virginia Department of Health for a certified copy of a vital record or a search of such records from five to ten dollars, and provides that three dollars of each fee shall be credited to a special fund appropriated by the General Assembly to enable the Department to carry out its duties regarding the preservation, retrieval, and storage of vital records.
