SUMMARY:
Private well standards. Allows Loudon County and Prince William County to adopt standards for construction and abandonment of private wells that are more stringent than regulations promulgated by the State Board of Health. Currently, only the Counties of James City and Fairfax and the City of Suffolk are authorized to adopt more stringent standards for private wells located in their jurisdictions.
