SB 149 State Corporation Commission; laws governing common carriers.

SUMMARY:

State Corporation Commission; compilation of laws governing motor carriers. Repeals law that requires the State Corporation Commission to publish a compilation of statutes governing common carriers, excluding railroads, and to furnish the publication, upon request, to transportation companies. Transportation companies include railroad companies, companies transporting express by railroad and ship or boat companies. The SCC will continue to provide the statutes, upon request; however, the requirement for a publication of such statutes will be eliminated by this bill.
