Introduced by: Edgar S. Robb | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Telephones and electronic communications systems in public schools. Requires local school boards to equip the classrooms of each public school in the relevant school division with telephones or other electronic communications devices, upon the appropriation of funds by the General Assembly for these purposes. This amendment would attempt to ensure greater safety and protection for school personnel and students by providing more direct communication with school administrative staff, law-enforcement agencies, and emergency services.
