Rental property. Requests the Housing Study Commission, assisted by the Department of Housing and Community Development to study the authority of local governments to inspect such property between occupancies for compliance with the Uniform Statewide Building Code and the Statewide Fire Prevention Code and their enforcement powers when violations are found.
