SUMMARY:
Criminal sexual assault. Removes the ten-day reporting limitation for spousal (i) rape, (ii) forcible sodomy or (iii) sexual object penetration and for marital sexual assault. Under current law, these offenses cannot be prosecuted if the crime is reported to law enforcement more than 10 days after commission of the offense.
