SUMMARY:

Definitions in the Industrial Development and Revenue Bond Act. Strikes prohibition against using industrial bond proceeds for various recreational and entertainment sports facilities and the prohibition that a commercial issue shall not use more than 25 percent of the issue proceeds for recreation or entertainment facilities that are not totally barred. However, bond proceeds may be used for such facilities; but, the interest on any bonds issued to finance such facilities is not exempt from federal income taxation.
